    Passenger car tires are composed of different rubber components. Every rubber component is subject to a certain degree of aging. The extent to which a tire ages strongly depends on various factors. This includes the number of kilometers driven per year, the frequency and duration of use (daily or a number of times per year), the speed with which you drive and the regular checking of the correct tire pressure. The weather conditions, the load on the tire (normal load or maximum load) and the storage of the tire when not in use are also factors in this aging process.

    All these different elements make it impossible to indicate exactly how many years or how many kilometers a car tire can be used. However, it should be taken into account that the older the tire is, the greater the chance that the tire must be replaced.

Tires must be replaced at least 10 years after purchase, even if they still look good on the outside.
