What is the MPTAAS Scholarship
Launched by the tribal affairs and scheduled caste welfare department of Madhya Pradesh the MPTAAS Scholarship program helps students belonging to the schedule caste & tribe to continue higher education without any financial constraints. Aiming to provide students from SC & ST communities, this scholarship program provides them with financial support to accomplish their higher education. The eligible students from SC, ST categories receive financial assistance along with tuition fees & living expenses and get better education. With the goal to make education accessible to all it empowers students from underprivileged sections and improves their future career.
Eligibility Criteria for MPTAAS Scholarship
- Resident of Madhya Pradesh: You must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Academic Qualification: You must be enrolled in classes 12th, undergraduate, postgraduate, or Ph.D. level programs.
- Category: You must belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category.
- Annual Family Income: The annual income of your family should not exceed ₹6 lakhs.
- Parental Occupation: Your parents should not be government employees.
Under the MPTAAS scheme, students must be eligible to receive the scholarship that covers tuition fees, living expenses and additional educational costs. - Caste Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Marksheet of the qualifying exam
- Passport size photograph
- Recent Fee receipt and Admission Letter
- Residential proof such as Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card

MPTAAS Scholarship Registration Procedure
- Open your preferred web browser and enter www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas to reach the MPTAAS official website.
- Now, click on “New Registration.”
- Enter the details such as name, date of birth, and father’s name as mentioned in the Aadhar card.
- Type address, state, city, pin code, mobile number, caste certificate information, marital status, and other details in the given field.
- Now, click on “Save and Proceed”.
- Enter your Samagra ID details and hit the “Next. tab.
- Type the information about the father’s occupation and family income.
- Now, enter your domicile certificate details and save it.
- Finally, review your application, enter a new password,
- Now, “submit” the form
