Indian Education System in 2030

Today, the dynamic world of education is witnessing a paradigm shift. But, the Indian education system is still criticized for its outdated structures and voids. From accessibility to digitalization, it still needs major reforms. Some of these reforms are already incorporated within our system. However, there is a scope for many more changes.

The face of 21st- century learning is full of new and futuristic designs

In the last few years, the world is witnessing major changes in the field of education. From virtual schooling to the use of assistive technology, the face of modern-day learning has changed largely.

Therefore, our recent National Policy of Education 2020 is also focusing on new-age learning

NPE 2020 aims at revolutionizing the existing system as per the needs of 21st-century learning. This policy rightly focuses on new-age skill inculcation and meaningful learning experiences. In this way, it is a step towards the aims of future schooling.

Future schooling- The ultimate way forward!

The Indian education system is now under the process of being reformed for lifelong learning. With more and more opportunities through online learning, we can imagine a much more accessible educational framework in the coming years. Hopefully, digital mediums will help us in improving the accessibility of better quality education in India. Because future schooling is also a gateway for the development of high-order thinking skills in students. So, in the upcoming 10 years, our system will succeed in inculcating these advanced skill sets in our students.

Some goals that we will be able to achieve by the year 2030?

  • It is believed that in the years to come we will have a better network of online schools and physical schools. So, we will be able to include each Indian student in the mainstream system.
  • Additionally, by this time, we will improve the quality of early childhood education and care. This will help in making our students up to the age of 6 years fully school-ready.
  • Most importantly, our system will have a rate of 100% enrollment by the year 2030.

In the years to come our marginalized students will also have better alternatives

Stakeholders rightly believe that online learning is great support for the future of our system. Through this option, it will be possible to eliminate the barriers.

So, our struggling, at-risk and disabled students will have an option to complete their schooling conveniently. In this way, the rates of school drop-outs and out-of-school children will be also reduced.

With online schooling, students can enjoy their right to education easily in the years to come

Considering the high rates of school drop-outs and out-of-school rates, we definitely need a credible alternative for traditional schooling platforms. Online schooling is one such solution that has the potential to support the ‘Right to education’ given to each child. Because traditional schools are not the ideal choice for some students. Through these digital mediums, our students will be able to study with flexible study schedules in a threat-free environment. This option will help them to manage their life responsibilities. With these solutions, our students will be able to enjoy good quality learning within their home settings.

An online school is a credible face of our future education system

Indeed! With the blessing of technology-based education, it is now possible for our students to enroll in a digital schooling platform. They can thrive academically within the flexible and student-centric designs of these schools. So, be it their life conditions, or physical or learning disabilities, good-quality learning experiences will no more be a challenge for them. This alternative for traditional schooling is a supportive pillar for the realization of our broad educational goals by the year 2030. Hopefully, in the next 10 years, we will be successful in imparting quality education to each Indian student, thereby safeguarding their ‘Right to Education’!
